A Safer, Focused Virtual Environment

A virtual school must provide more than access to lessons. It must provide an environment in which students can learn without unnecessary distractions or exposure to inappropriate digital activity.

Shar'ah addresses this through Tsaphah™, a state-of-the-art security and monitoring system developed by ReggaePixel®. Once a student enters the school platform, Tsaphah monitors and restricts activity throughout the learning environment.

Students cannot access unrelated websites, open unauthorized browser tabs or launch external applications while signed into the school system. Students are also unable to leave the secured environment before dismissal without appropriate authorization.

Engagement That Rewards Character

Eliminating distractions solves only half the problem. Students must also have a reason to remain engaged, participate actively and take ownership of their development.

Shar'ah Credits™ provides the other half of the solution. Students earn credits for positive academic, social and behavioural contributions—including attendance, participation, early submission of assignments, achieving scores of 80% or higher, demonstrating good citizenship and being a good neighbour.

The system works both ways. Where an action earns credits, its opposite carries an equivalent deduction. Students therefore develop a measurable relationship between their choices and their outcomes.

STAR STUDENT FEATURE

One Student. A Whole School Impact.

Each week, one student is challenged to develop an initiative that promotes positive values such as kindness, environmental responsibility, community involvement, service to others or care for the wider community.

Once selected, the entire school is invited to participate. Students earn Shar'ah Credits™ through their involvement, while the student who created the initiative earns recognition and credits based on the initiative's reach and impact.

Exceptional initiatives may even be highlighted beyond Shar'ah's own platforms.

Shar'ah Group of Virtual Schools maintains a zero-tolerance position toward bullying, harassment and abuse of any kind.

Students are educated to recognize inappropriate behaviour and understand that harassment can occur in both physical and virtual environments. Our platform is designed to support the identification and reporting of inappropriate conduct, while students are taught and encouraged to report bullying, harassment or any other form of abuse.

Shar'ah believes that financial education should not remain theoretical. Students are provided with multiple avenues through which they can develop practical financial skills and, where eligible, earn real income while they learn.

Every student is provided with a Shar'ah Virtual Wallet, providing a structured environment through which eligible earnings can be managed. Depending on the applicable program, students may use their funds toward investments, stocks, shares or other approved financial opportunities, or elect to cash out for personal purposes.

The objective is not simply to teach students how to make money, but how to manage it responsibly. Shar'ah provides financial-management education and practical exposure so students can begin developing sound habits around earning, saving, investing and decision-making from an early age.

By Junior High, students are encouraged to explore entrepreneurship and investment opportunities, including starting businesses and learning about shares. By Senior High, students are expected to have developed a stronger understanding of business and wealth creation — and, where applicable, they are able to retain the profits they generate.
